Room Status

The Room Status feature helps keep track of the status for each room by color-coding different status. There are two types of Room Status systems available: Reservation and Housekeeping. The Reservation Room Status system keeps track of the reservations status (confirmed, paid, checked-in or checked-out, etc.), while the Housekeeping Room Status system keeps track of the room status for the housekeeping staff (dirty, clean, etc.).

 

To customize the Housekeeping Status Name:

  1. Go to Setup >> Front Office >> Advanced >> Room Status >> Housekeeping tab
  2. Click on the Pencil icon to the left to edit the corresponding Status (NOTE: clicking the Trash bin icon will DELETE the status)
  3. To edit the Status Name, select the current name and type in the new status name. When done, click Save

To customize the Housekeeping Status Colors:

  1. Go to Setup >> Front Office >> Advanced >> Room Status >> Housekeeping tab
  2. Click on the Pencil icon to the left to edit the corresponding Status
  3. To edit the Status Color, click on the color box to the right of the box containing the color code
  4. Select a color from the Basic colors already preset or pick a custom color. When done, click Ok then Save.

To customize the Reservation Status Color:

  1. Go to Setup >> Front Office >> Advanced >> Room Status >> Reservation tab
  2. To edit the Status Color, click on the color box to the right of the corresponding Status
  3. Use the slider to select the new color, then click Select to set the new color. Finally, click Save.
