Client needs to create/update rack rates:
- To create new rates, refer to the Rates Setup Help Doc
- To edit existing rates, click rate name and edit from setup screen.
- Apply rates to Room Types and Units, accordingly. Push R&A.
Client needs to create/update seasonal rates:
- To create new rates, refer to the Seasonal Rates Setup Help Doc
- To edit existing rates, edit from the Seasonal Rate breakdown screen. *Cannot have duplicate dates / cannot shorten original dates*
- Apply rates to RATES, accordingly. Push R&A.
Client needs to change rate for only one day:
- From the Calendar drop-down, select Daily Rate Calendar >> click Edit for the corresponding room >> change the Daily Rate >> click Update to save from the Daily Rates Calendar
- /!\ PLEASE NOTE /!\ Whenever changes are made to the rates, in order to apply these changes to OTAs, R&A MUST be pushed. The only exception to this rule is when the rates are changed from the Daily Rates Calendar (these are automatically applied).
Wrong rates applied to the reservations when booking thru EWR or on PMS:
- First! Check the rate applied to the unit affected. If the correct rate is being applied to the unit, are there multiple rates enabled? If so, disable the rates that are not needed.
- Check the rate assigned to the unit’s Room Type and make sure it matches the one assigned to the Unit. If both Unit rate and Room Type rate match, is the rate supposed to have a seasonal rate?
- Check for seasonal rates. Seasonal date ranges might have been created, but not applied to the rates. If seasonal rates have been applied to the rate, but need to be updated, you can edit from the Seasonal Rate breakdown screen.
Wrong rates applied to OTA reservations:
- First! Check that R&A has been sent. A lot of properties close seasonally and are not at the office to refresh OTA R&A when they are set to expire.
- If R&A are current, check Expedia Central or Booking.com Extranet and make sure there is only one rate plan active.
