Steps for connecting AirbnbNew
Step 1 – Get the OTA credentials and log in to Airbnb Extranet. Note down the Host ID.
URL – www.airbnb.com
Where will you find the Host ID?
After logging into the extranet – Go to your profile, and the ID you see in the URL of the Profile is your Host ID.
Highlighted below is the Host ID – Copy or make a note of it.
Step 2 – Go to the User Details page of the property and select View Hotel Details. Once here, select Channel Manager-> Settings.
Step 3 – Selecting the OTA, Select AirbnbNew from the dropdown.
Step 4 – Add the host ID and authorize it. Once you click on authorized, it will direct you to the extranet asking for an acknowledgment. Accept the terms and allow the connection.
Once you click on Allow, you will again be redirected to the Macroservice page below.
After this, come back to CM and Refresh; Once you refresh – the status should be Authorized.
Step 5 – Go to Listings and import it to CM.
Once you import the listings, go back to the extranet and check if the API is connected. To verify the same, go to Manage Listings and check if the sync status is connected. If it is connected, it means that the API connection is enabled, and now you will be able to sync the rates and inventories successfully.
The Sync settings are default set to “Everything” by the tech team. It means that – All listing details, booking settings, pricing, availability, and messages will get synced with CM(API- connected software). So if you wish to change the same per the hotelier’s request, select the listing, click on Edit selected -> go to sync settings-> and change the settings.
NOTE – If you have to deactivate/delete the listing, you will again come to the sync setting and disconnect the listings.
After this, edit the listings and map them accordingly.
Please map the rooms correctly. Make sure to compare the rooms and the rate plans present in CM and along with the listings.
Step 6 – After completing the room mapping, come back to the Configuration page in CM and refresh the page. You will be able to see the Channel AirbnbNew and its configurations.
Do not click on the Configurations here because it would give you a blank screen, and you will have to repeat Step-5. Instead, you can go to rate plans and check for the occupancies.
Step 7 – Sync the Rates and Inventories.
